Honor the fallen was founded by Watus Cooper in 2015. He and his family went to the theater to see "American Sniper",a movie about the life and sacrifices made by Navy Seal Chris Kyle and his brothers in arms. After the movie Watus asked his wife, " Who helps these children after such a loss?" He went home that night and searched to find a place that was helping families of fallen heroes. He was moved and inspired to also help make a difference. That was the night our flagship event, 5k For Heroes, was born. To date we have raised over $120,000 for families of Fallen Heroes.
Thank you so much for your support!
Our mission is to support families of fallen heroes and provide support to organizations that come alongside these families. We aim to partner with organizations to provide financial assistance and therapeutic programs and services that promote healing.
