Honor The Fallen is an official 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Tempe, Arizona. We host several family-friendly events throughout the year to create opportunities to support families of fallen police, fire, military, and EMS personnel.

Our community rallies together through runs, golf tournaments, workouts, and more — all to ensure that the families of heroes are never forgotten and never alone.

How It Started

One Question. One Mission. Ten Years of Impact.

"Who supports the children after such a loss?"

Honor The Fallen was established in 2015 by Watus Cooper, inspired by a powerful moment after watching the story of Navy SEAL Chris Kyle and the sacrifices of his fellow service members. Moved by the question of who supports the children left behind, Watus felt compelled to make a difference.

That very night, he set out to create an event that would provide much-needed support to the families of fallen heroes. This led to the birth of our flagship event, the 5K For Heroes. Since then, we have raised over $130,000 to directly benefit these families. We are deeply grateful for your continued support in honoring the legacy of those who have given everything.
